    WED
When:  7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
    Where:  Lake Room

Balto is one of the most famous dogs in history because of the historic Serum Run made by heroic mushers and sled dogs over hundreds of miles in blizzard conditions. Lee Gambol, of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, will present how Cleveland is connected to Balto, the Husky that helped save the small city of Nome, Alaska, from a diphtheria outbreak in 1925.
