  • EPL Updates Policy to Require Youth Chaperones After School

Euclid Public Library strives to foster a welcoming environment while encouraging patrons to use the facility and its resources for learning and enrichment. To preserve that opportunity, the library expects patrons to be respectful of each other and behave in a manner that does not disrupt other patrons or staff. Effective March 1st, a parent, guardian or caregiver over the age of 21 must accompany children under the age of 18 in the library, Monday through Friday, between 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM.
  • Lunch with Ruth Etting

The Friends of the Library invite you to enjoy lunch with “America’s Sweetheart of Song,” Ruth Etting on Friday, March 10 at noon. Tickets are available at the library beginning Monday, February 20 for $12/members and $15/non-members.
  • Update on Library Funding

We are very appreciative here at the Euclid Public Library for the support we receive from our patrons through state funding, local property taxes, and generous donations from the Euclid Public Library Foundation and Friends of the Euclid Public Library support groups. We would not be able to serve you at the current level without your support.
  • Self-Checkout Comes to EPL: Introducing meeScan

Last year, the Euclid Public Library launched the meeScan self-checkout tool at the library. meeScan is a cloud-based self-checkout system that allows you to use your smartphones, tablets, or a library provided iPad to check out materials anywhere in the library. The system uses the built-in camera of your smartphone or tablet to scan the item barcode, allowing for quicker service. meeScan is user-friendly, simple to setup, and helps limit long wait times!
