Kimmy Henderson is a self-taught artist from Stow, Ohio who considers herself an art activist. When Henderson learned she was bipolar; her first instinct was to draw butterflies. Today, her butterfly art is in demand, bringing awareness and helping to end the stigma about mental illness. Henderson's eye-catching butterfly artwork has been displayed in Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, Canton, and Fairlawn. For the first time, throughout the month of August, you can enjoy the Bipolar Butterfly Project in Euclid, Ohio at EPL's art gallery.
