We’re hosting a series of free warm and cozy activities and events that are sure to brighten up your winter days. Stop by daily, starting on December 1st, counting down to a Winter Solstice party on December 21st. Start your visit with a warm beverage and boost your spirits by sitting under our SAD lamp that mimics sunlight. Drop-in to participate in a variety of winter-themed crafts, select a calming mantra for inspiration, and make plans to attend our special winter events for all ages:

As we continue our countdown to the start of winter, bring your family and friends to EPL to experience a special, heartwarming and interactive winter story for all ages! Author and dramatic storyteller Lindsay Bonilla return to the library this December to bring to life the Chinese fable "Rabbit’s Gift," a story about sharing during the winter season. Winter Solstice Party: Winter, Cozy & Spacey!

It’s Winter! Join us for a Winter Solstice party under the stars--and you won’t need your coat! Beginning at 5 pm, experience the winter sky in all its wonder with virtual reality headsets, providing a closer look at the planets and constellations. For adults and teens.
At 6 pm, members from the Cuyahoga Astronomical Association will guide us through a lively talk about what to expect in the night sky during the winter months. Warm and cozy refreshments will be served throughout the evening, ensuring everyone stays warm while learning about the cosmos! The Astronomical Association will also be discussing the upcoming 2024 solar eclipse and answering all your stargazing questions! Be there to explore the winter sky like never before. For all ages.
