Library Information for Parents and Caregivers

Archway entrance to the Children's Library at Euclid Public Library

Hello Parents and Guardians!

We are pleased that you are interested in using the Euclid Public Library! Here are some of the things you can do with your child at EPL, in person and online:

  • Get an EPL card to checkout materials including books, DVDs and blu-rays, music, video games, Playaway Launchpad tablets, Playaway Wonderbooks, and more! Click here for more information about how to get a library card and the types of cards we offer.
  • Search for items and place holds using our online catalog by clicking on My Account on the library homepage (if viewing on mobile, change to desktop view to sign-in). Your username is your library card number (no spaces) and your PIN which is typically the last four digits of your phone number.
  • Attend programs and events! Click here for our calendar of events.
  • Use library computers and iPads.
  • See displays of items on loan from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
  • Complete a craft in the children’s area (limited quantities; while supplies last)
  • Use ComicsPlus on your computer, tablet, or other mobile device to access digital comics (no library card required).
  • Use Tutor.com to receive one-on-one virtual academic help (library card required; available for K-12 and college and adult learners, too!)
  • Visit our website to ‘Tickle Your Brain’ with new facts each month!
  • Participate in our Summer Reading Program, which typically starts the first full week of June and ends the last full week of July.
  • Access eBooks using Libby and hoopla (library card required). You can also download the mobile apps in your phone’s app store.
  • Follow EPL on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok
